1. INTRODUCTION
The municipality Gorazde is in the Bosansko Podrinje Canton and covers a greater part of the Canton. It consists of 21 local communities. The Inter-Entity Boundary Line borders the municipality Gorazde and the municipalities Foca/Srbinje, Cajnice and Srpsko Gorazde. UNHCR recognised the Bosansko Podrinje Canton as an "Open Canton" in autumn 1997. Approximately 100 Bosnian Serbs families already returned, and a great number of them have expressed a wish for return.
